Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
You can get a taste of Italy while you’re in Las Vegas. Stroll through Venice at the Grand Canal Shoppes in The Venetian Resort Las Vegas - Opens a dialog . This shopping venue features high-end shopping and restaurants with an amazing ambiance. You will see (and hear!) the gondolas that slide lazily by in the river that runs through the shops. St. Mark’s Square is the place to be for mesmerizing living statues and vibrant musical performances. Parking is free at the Fashion Show mall across the street from The Venetian, so you can hit two great places to shop in one!
The Venetian is a great place to start in a walk on “The Strip”.
Experience the Bright Lights of “The Strip”
If you are a fan of walking and general people watching, one of the best places in the world to do these activities is on the Las Vegas “Strip”. Just within the 2 miles between the The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino - Opens a dialog you’ll find places to shop, like inside of a giant Coca-Cola bottle at the Coca-Cola Store Las Vegas, or the bright colorful candy-filled M&M’s World, where you can take selfies with life-size candy characters. Nighttime on the strip is full of bright lights and lots of people. The LINQ Prominade is full of shops and dining venues from famous chefs. It also hosts the High Roller Las Vegas Strip Observation Wheel, which isn’t free to ride but is definitely free to observe from below. This massive 550-foot wheel is a sight to behold.

The Fountains of Bellagio is a free show at the Bellagio Las Vegas.

The last scene in Ocean’s Eleven was set in front of the fountains at Bellagio Las Vegas. Set to music this iconic fountain show is a must-see, and has been a Las Vegas staple since it was introduced in 1998. While you’re there, take a peek inside at the stunning Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. This 14,000-square-foot space is beautifully decorated with millions of flowers in a different design for each season, with a special display for Lunar New Year.

Admission to The Pinball Hall of Fame is free, but be advised you’ll probably want to bring some quarters. Over 200 vintage pinball machines, this is a place for kids and kids-at-heart.
