Tudor House & Garden displays artifacts covering over 800 years of history, including a penny-farthing bike.

Overview
Haugesund is a young and vibrant town with roots dating back to Viking times. It was the Viking, Harald the Fair-haired, who united Norway as a kingdom. To commemorate his achievement, Norway’s national monument, Haraldshaugen, was erected just north of Haugesund. As with the Vikings, seafaring, and trade symbolizes this coastal region. It was the plentiful shoals of herring along the rugged coastline that led to the development of Haugesund as an important hub for fish export and later as Norway’s leading shipbuilding center. Today, Haugesund is one of Norway’s most popular congress and festival towns. First-class hotels and restaurants combined with a town center hosting several hundred shops and a diverse cultural life that caters to the most demanding tastes create a thriving dynamic region. For pleasure boats, Haugesund is a popular guest harbor where it is possible to sail right into the heart of the town, while at the same time, it is only a few minutes from the wild and scenic Haugalandet countryside.

Alesund is a port town on the west coast of Norway, at the entrance to the Geirangerfjord. It’s known for the art nouveau architectural style in which most of the town was rebuilt after a fire in 1904, as documented at the Jugendstilsenteret museum. There are panoramic views of Ålesund’s architecture, the surrounding archipelago, and fjords from the Mount Aksla lookout.

Iceland's capital and largest city, Reykjavik, is on the coast. The city is home to the National and Saga museums, which trace Iceland’s Viking history. Near the village of Grindavik, the geothermal Blue Lagoon spa exemplifies the island’s volcanic activity.

Overview
Ísafjörður is a town in the Westfjords region of northwest Iceland. It's known for its dramatic landscapes. The old town has wooden houses with corrugated tin roofs built by fishing merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Westfjords Heritage Museum has exhibits on the town’s maritime history, including a collection of old fishing boats. The old hospital, now a cultural center, contains archives and photography.

Overview
Akureyri is a city at the base of Eyjafjorour Fjord in northern Iceland. In the center, the 1940 Akureyri Church has stained-glass windows portraying scenes from Icelandic Christian history. To the south are the Botanical Gardens, with specimens from across Iceland.

World Fresh Marketplace: The World Fresh Marketplace boasts food stations from around the world that offer endless variety, regional favorites and customizable options for every palate.
The Bakery: An endless assortment of mouthwatering treats, from fresh pie and cakes to decadent pastries and more. The Bakery serves Western, European and Asian flavors and fare fresh from the oven.
Chopsticks Noodle Bar: Freshly prepared noodle soups and classic wok-fried noodle dishes make for the perfect light repast with an Asian twist. Enjoy favorites such as Sichuan Dan-Dan Noodles and Wonton Noodle Soup in a casual setting on deck, plus special menu items rotated daily.

Guests with the latest Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages enjoy OceanNow® and room service delivery with no charge.
