    Day 1: Athens

    Arrive in Athens
    Kalòs orisate! Welcome to Athens International Airport. An Adventures by Disney representative will greet you to assist with your luggage and provide smooth transportation to your hotel.

    Stretch your legs after your flight as your Adventure Guides handle your check-in to this contemporary hotel, which boasts spacious rooms, sophisticated décor and stunning views of the Acropolis.

    Lunch on Your Own
    If you arrive in the morning, feel free to indulge in one of the hotel restaurants for lunch or ask your Adventure Guides for recommendations.

    Welcome Reception and Dinner
    Gather with your fellow Adventurers for a private welcome reception followed by dinner on the rooftop of the hotel where you'll take in the breathtaking views of the Acropolis.

    Day 2: Athens

    The Acropolis of Athens
    Kalimera (Good Morning)! After breakfast at the hotel, be awed by the majesty of the restored buildings that compose the famous Acropolis, located on a flat rock overlooking Athens. Enjoy breathtaking views from the temple dedicated to the goddess Athena. Learn from an expert guide about the history of this citadel which is home to some of Greece's most famous monuments, including the Parthenon. Decorated with spectacular sculptures throughout, the Acropolis is a testimony to the greatness of Ancient Greece.

    Panathenaic Stadium and Junior Adventurer Mini-Marathon
    Take a guided tour of the Panathenaic Stadium. Built entirely from white marble on the remains of an ancient Greek stadium, the Panathenaic hosted the first modern Olympic games in 1896. Learn about its fascinating history and take advantage of the dramatic photo opportunities it provides. Junior Adventurers can compete in a mini-marathon to win a prize fit for an ancient Olympian!

    Partake in a lively lunch at a local taverna where you'll enjoy an excellent meal while being entertained by live music and dancers.

    On Your Own Time in the Plaka
    Stroll along the streets of the Plaka, a vibrant quarter lined with red-tiled roofs and fragrant jasmine blossoms, where you'll delight in the museums, monuments and variety of shops.

    Dinner on Your Own
    Find a taverna for dinner that offers traditional Greek cuisine or a restaurant with choices from an international menu. Ask your Adventure Guides to recommend activities and restaurants that your family would enjoy.

    Day 3: Sounion

    Breakfast at the Hotel
    Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before a day of adventure in Sounion.

    Cape Sounion
    Fuel up on a hearty breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic drive to Cape Sounion and the Greek Temple of Poseidon. Located in the southern region of Attica, Cape Sounion was known by the ancient Greeks as the "Sacred Cape." Once on the Cape, explore by foot the iconic Greek temple, immortalized in Homer's Odyssey.

    Marvel at the wondrous Temple of Poseidon, perched 200 feet (61 m) on the cliffs of Cape Sounion, built by the ancient Greeks in 44 BC in honor of the god of the sea. During your privately guided visit, be awed by the impressive views over the azure waters of the Aegean Sea as your Adventure Guide brings the ancient mythology to life.

    Lunch and Scenic Drive Along the Coast
    Drive past the pretty villages and beaches that line the stunning coastline, then stop to savor traditional Greek flavors with an included lunch along the way.

    Day 4: Santorini

    Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel's rooftop restaurant prior to your adventure-filled day in Santorini.

    Fly to Santorini
    Depart by plane for sunny Santorini, made famous by the books of Jules Verne as well as by decades of speculation about it being the mythical Atlantis. Created by a volcanic explosion, this stunning island features steep cliffs that descend into the sparkling blue waters of the Aegean Sea.

    Wine-Tasting and Lunch at Volcan Winery
    Visit this idyllic family-owned winery, which has been in business from 1660 to the present. Indulge in a delicious wine-tasting event, then roll up your pants and delight in some grape-stomping. After you've worked up an appetite, enjoy a private lunch made with fresh local ingredients. After lunch, visit the Volcan Winery's underground museum and hear stories about this revered winery from its origins on, tracing its success from its well-tended vineyards to the tables of fine restaurants.

    Visit to Fira
    En route to dinner, enjoy a stop in the town of Fira. Meander down charming cobblestone streets lined with shops and cafés. And take in a view of the caldera—a large depression in the ground resulting from the collapse of the volcano that formed this area.

    Venture out on a private boat that's chartered for the entire day. Begin by crossing the azure waters of Santorini's underwater caldera to explore the volcanic island of Nea Kameni—one of 2 black lava islets located at the center of the basin.

    Volcano Hike
    Marvel at the lunar landscape as you embark on a "lava walk" up to the volcano's rim, which provides an extraordinary view of the Aegean Sea below. Your Adventure Guide describes the geology as well as the mythology of how Santorini was formed.

    Swim in the Sea & Take a Dip in the Natural Springs
    After the lava walk, cool down with a dive into the Aegean Sea for a refreshing swim. Then, take a splash in the natural springs to enjoy their therapeutic effects.♦

    Lunch in Pyrgos
    Travel to a nearby village and dine at a local taverna.

    Late Afternoon and Dinner On Your Own
    Return by boat to Santorini and board the coach to return to the hotel to freshen up. Then, ask your Adventure Guides for recommendations about where to find a delicious Mediterranean meal in Fira that suits your family's tastes.

    Day 6: Santorini and Crete

    Breakfast at the Resort
    Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before a day of adventure in Santorini and Crete.

    The Archaeological Site of Akrotiri
    Explore the ruins of this "Minoan Pompeii." Learn about the volcano under Santorini that erupted in 1627 BC and how this Minoan Bronze Age settlement was buried in volcanic ash. That same ash preserved frescoes and other artworks for posterity. At the museum, examine these artifacts as well as the instruments and tools of everyday life that were used by this lost civilization.

    On Your Own Time and Lunch in Oia
    After the coach takes you to Oia's main square, you'll be amazed at this picturesque village and how it is terraced down the steep slope of the caldera, with houses built into the niches. Visit old and new structures that vary in both size and grandness. After you explore the village, enjoy a relaxing lunch on your own at one of the many cliff-side tavernas.

    Unwind at the Hotel
    Later in the afternoon, return to the hotel for a brief respite before heading to the ferry.

    High-Speed Ferry to Crete
    Head for the rustic island of Crete in business-class seats on a high-speed ferry.

    Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel, then take off on a private boat to Spinalonga. Disembark for a privately guided walking tour to learn about the haunting history of the island as you ponder the ruins of this "medieval ghost town."

    Lunch On Your Own
    Journey to the nearby fishing village of Plaka in Mirabello Bay for lunch. Ask your Adventure Guides for restaurant recommendations.

    On Your Own Time at the Resort or Beach Activities with Adventure Guides
    Join your Adventure Guides at the resort for some fun at the beach or spend the afternoon indulging in the resort's many delightful amenities. Feel tensions melt away with a treatment from the Six Senses Spa or play a round of golf. Swim in the Aegean at the sandy private beach or in the refreshing swimming pool.     Day 8: Crete

    The Palace of Knossos
    Board the coach and set off for the Palace of Knossos. This extraordinary palace was restored in the early 1900s, with the grandeur and complexity of the structure kept intact despite its having suffered thousands of years of foreign invasions, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. It was woven into Greek mythology, most prominently in the myth of the heroic youth Theseus who killed the Minotaur. Join your Adventure Guides for a guided visit to the site.

    Enjoy a Private Lunch in Arolithos & Learn Tzatziki-Making
    At a private lunch served outdoors under a vine-laden trellis, learn how to make tzatziki, a spicy yogurt and cucumber dip.

    Make Your Own Kombolói
    The kombolói ("worry beads") have been used for centuries in Greek culture to relieve stress or merely pass time. In a private class, learn to make your own soothing string of beads, which you can take home as a souvenir.

    After breakfast at the resort, take the coach for a ride into the mountains of Crete to the rustic village of Bizariano. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the village's pathways led by a local host who will share stories and wisdom about Cretan culture and life.

    Cheese-Making, Meze-Tasting and Lunch in Countryside
    Welcome to the Cretan countryside where you'll head to Kato Karouzanos for cheese-making and meze-tasting to accompany a glass of raki—an anise-flavored aperitif—and experience the full flavor of the bold Cretan culture. Next, you'll stroll down the hill to the village café for lunch on a private terrace. Learn how to make your own cheese pie with honey before devouring your creation for dessert.

    Late Afternoon On Your Own at the Resort
    Return to the resort in the late afternoon to relax and freshen up for the night's festivities.
