The Neo-Baroque NH Collection Madrid Paseo del Prado was designed by and used as a vacation palace for architect Antonio Palacios, who also stamped his mark on the Palacio de Cibeles, which now serves as the mayor's office. The hotel has a great location by the Neptune Fountain with the Prado Museum just across the street. It is also close to the Thyssen and Reina Sofia museums and the Retiro Park. There's an elegant lobby with plush sofas and chairs, and a well-equipped gym on the roof.
