Did you know Costco sells vacations and cruises?
When people think 'Costco,' the first thing that comes to mind is a warehouse with steel aisles and pallets of goods just waiting to be purchased. As you stroll through the warehouse, you begin to notice the price point and the value of products on display. It could be an item labeled Kirkland Signature, Costco’s private label, or maybe it's a two-pack of an item that is listed at a better price point than when you buy a single.
So how does this model translate when it comes to buying a vacation with Costco?
In reality, it's quite similar to shopping at your local Costco. Imagine that Costco Travel is a warehouse. Instead of cement floors and pallets of products, we have a warehouse full of sandy beaches and palm trees. You can stroll the aisles of our website and explore all of the exciting vacations, cruises, theme parks, hotels, and rental cars the same way you can explore the latest electronics or apparel at a warehouse. When you shop at your local Costco, you know the items you are purchasing have quality and value; if they didn't, the warehouse wouldn't be offering them. If Kirkland Signature is the highest level of added value, then Buyer's Choice is just shy of that mark. These vacations have a high amount of added value but not quite enough to earn the Kirkland Signature label.
