Originally built below Camelback Mountain in 1959, Mountain Shadows reemerged as an icon of extravagance and design after it was completely rebuilt and opened in 2017. Located in Paradise Valley, Arizona, echoes of the resort's historic legacy and the stunning desert surroundings create an energy of renewal that draws you into this unique resort. As you enter, dramatic mountain views greet you, while contemporary design, infused with a dash of 1950s modernism and abundant natural light, provide a unique sense of place. Scottsdale is known as a golfer's paradise and Mountain Shadows is no exception. The Short Course is a fun and relatively quick round of par 3, 18-hole golf, recently named "Renovation of the Year" by Golf Inc. The Short Course has an emphasis on fun for the casual golfer as well as the serious player. The layout features challenging greens, rugged slopes, distinct holes and beautiful views of Camelback Mountain. Genuine hospitality, striking design, and incredible views await.
