Fairmont Waterfront offers 489 guestrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, many with views of Vancouver's working harbor and the coastal mountains. The hotel is connected to Canada Place and the cruise ship terminal, and is within steps of the Vancouver Convention Center, Stanley Park, the Seawall, and the boutiques and galleries of historic Gastown. Fairmont Waterfront is an environmental leader and a perfect fit for eco-minded travelers, featuring one of the earliest organic rooftop gardens, if not the first green roof in Vancouver. The garden is home to local birds, mason bees and other pollinator bees, as well as beehives that host up to 250,000 honeybees each summer. Fresh herbs and vegetables as well as the rooftop honey can often be found in seasonal dishes, cocktails, and desserts in ARC.
