Day 1: San Jose

Meet an Adventures by Disney representative who will assist with your luggage. Relax as a driver whisks your family away to the nearby hotel.

Set on a 30-acre coffee plantation, this beautiful colonial hacienda hotel is brimming with luxury. Unwind in the grand courtyard or enjoy the hotel's amenities, including a swimming pool, lounge and fitness center. If you wish to explore San José, your Adventure Guides can make suggestions.

Day 3: Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge

Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge Guided Tour
Board a boat from Los Chiles and head down stream on the Rio Frio ("Cold River"). Along the ride, your guide will point out the wonders of the rain forest and the richness of the flora and fauna of the area. Keep an eye out for rain forest wildlife, including monkeys, sloths, many species of birds, bats, crocodiles, lizards and many more.
Lunch at Hacienda Caño Negro
Enjoy a delicious riverside lunch overlooking the Rio Frio at Hacienda Caño Negro.
On Your Own Time at the Hotel

Sky Trek to Zip Lining
Enjoy a scenic bus ride to the Sky Tram, a gondola that carefully carries you through the rainforest canopy up the mountain to heights of over 4,000 feet (1,250 m). Be awed by the extraordinary views—and take note of changes in the vegetation as your gondola ascends.
Zip Line Adventure
Enjoy the adrenaline thrill of a lifetime! Strap on a harness that is clicked onto suspended wires and zip line above the treetops of the rainforest. For Adventurers who either don't meet Zip Line Adventure requirements or don't want to participate, a nature walk through the surrounding jungle with an Adventure Guide will be available as an alternative activity.♦♦
Lunch on Your Own
After your thrilling high-speed ride, satisfy your hunger with a hearty meal of Costa Rican cuisine in the town of La Fortuna.
Ecotermales Fortuna Hot Springs
Enjoy a moment of pure relaxation. Immerse yourself in the soothing mineral water pools of a natural hot springs, which is heated by the Arenal volcano.

Enjoy a light lunch at your leisure.
On Your Own Beach Time at the Hotel
Hit the sand with your fellow Adventurers and enjoy an afternoon of water sports. Or find your spot in the sun and just kick back while catching some Costa Rican rays.

To use the zip line, you must be at least 5 years old. Size restrictions also apply. Adventurers between the ages of 5 and 7 years will ride in tandem with one of our Adventure Guides or zip line guides. For adult Guests, the maximum weight is 300 lbs. (136 Kg) with a maximum waist size of 46 inches (117 cm). This activity is not recommended for Guests with a history of seizures, dizziness, fainting, heart conditions, osteoporosis, recent surgeries, asthma and active ailments. Also, please note that the Nature Walk alternate activity is not wheelchair accessible.
