A vision realized in 1908 by the great architect Nicolo Spada, Excelsior Venice Lido is a spectacular palace on the island of Lido di Venezia between the Venice Lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. The Lido, or 'Venice Lido', boasts a 6.8-mile long beach and is home to the prestigious Venice Film Festival. A focal point of the Lido, the Excelsior Venice Lido is only 15 minutes by the hotel's private boat to or from St. Mark's Square, making it ideal for families and couples wanting to experience the sights of Venice while still enjoying the beautiful and relaxing natural setting of the area.
