The northernmost of the Florida Keys, these two regions are located on the edge of the abundant sea life in the Atlantic and the diverse opportunities for exploration – or relaxation – on land. Key Largo is the self-proclaimed Dive Capital of the World, home to the first undersea park in the United States, in addition to being part of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, and a short drive from the famous Everglades National Park. Overview

Did you know Islamorada is actually a group of six islands with 24 miles of canals? Visit the History of Diving Museum, hand feed Tarpon at Robbie’s Marina or catch a show at the Theater of the Sea marine park. Key Largo is the northernmost of the Keys and has easy access to Everglades National Park. This proximity to the Everglades lends itself to kayakers and eco-tourists. The island is also close to the only coral barrier reef in the U.S. and is a self-proclaimed “Diving Capital of the World”.
