There's something for everyone in beautiful Whistler.

Whistler, BC
Due to its Pacific coast location, natural surroundings, and exciting offerings, Whistler continues to be one of North America’s premier ski destinations. This is underscored by the fact that it is the largest ski resort in North America (nearly 8,200 acres) and it also has been in the spotlight as Whistler hosted 28 events during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Its large mountainous terrain covers two mountains (Whistler & Blackcomb) and is connected by cable car. Each year, nearly 40 inches of snowfall accumulate on these massive slopes.
South Lake Tahoe, California
The ski resorts of Sierra-at-Tahoe, Kirkwood, and Heavenly can all be found in South Lake Tahoe. All three resorts are distinctive in their own right, so you should take advantage of this trifecta of ski experiences which also has an amazing history, culture, nightlife, and more.

While Sierra-at-Tahoe is still working through some damage related to the recent fires in Northern California, the resort is currently working diligently to reopen for their 75th season. That said, when Sierra-at-Tahoe reopens, you’re going to want to experience tree skiing, which is an adrenaline rush mixed with eye candy! With over 2,200 vertical feet of terrain sitting on 2,000 acres, you can be certain that you will not leave dissatisfied.

Kirkwood is also navigating the restoration process in advance of its highly anticipated Winter season. For now, just imagine the experience of skiing some of the most thrilling terrains in North America. If you enjoy extremely steep skiing, then Kirkwood is where you need to be!

Heavenly remains cautiously optimistic about its reopening this Winter as it was also impacted by the Northern California fires. When it reopens, it will continue to provide memorable ski experiences to those individuals at the novice, intermediate and expert levels. With its 10,000+ foot summit and 3,500 vertical drop, this resort continues to be popular with locals and adventure enthusiasts alike.
